FAMILY
Support Worker

Welcome to our Family Support page of the website. Our family support worker is Mrs. Michelle Carman.
Our role in school are to provide support, advice and information to the families within our school community. We can help you with any worries that you may have in relation to your child’s education, behaviour and wellbeing. We are also here as someone to talk to if you need it!
We can meet with you in school at a time to suit yourselves in our newly developed Family Support Hub. Advice and support is confidential although concerns relating to the safeguarding of children will always be dealt with in accordance with the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. Cheshire Without Abuse offers a wide range of advice, support and information for anyone who is currently or has previously experienced domestic abuse as an adult or child. Domestic abuse is physical, sexual, psychological, emotional or financial abuse that takes place within an intimate or family-type relationship and that forms a pattern of coercive and controlling behaviour.
This can include forced marriage, so-called ‘honour’ crimes and female genital mutilation. Domestic abuse may include a range of behaviours, not all of which are in themselves inherently ‘violent’. For more information, please check out the website https://www.mycwa.org.uk
