Are you feeling upset, scared or worried?

Thoughts and feeling can be hard to make sense of especially if you are having new feeling that you don’t understand.

Miss Whiston, Mrs Wheaver, Mrs Blackburn, Mrs Lloyd and Miss Tomley are our Mental Health First Aiders in school. They are trained and are here to help you and the staff.

We also have Miss Atkinson and Mrs Carman in school who are our family support workers.

However, we have our very own ‘Well-Being Ambassadors.’ These are a selection of Year 6 pupils who champion the well-being of our young people.

Our Wellbeing Ambassadors are:

  • Kind and caring
  • A good listener
  • Approachable

Our Wellbeing Ambassadors have the skills to:

  • Offer advice to others
  • Ask for help from an adult when additional support is needed
  • Needs to be productive, planning assemblies and competitions to inform children about what help is available
  • Needs to have a display in school with useful informationYou can of course talk to any grown up within our school and they will listen and find the best way to help you to feel better.

Above all, our Wellbeing Ambassadors are committed and passionate about their role in school.
